❝Red. The color of hearts split open and the fire in my veins. A scream of rage, of cursing the white kids who had laughed at my name, of severing the thread binding me to the devils in my house. A color of passion. Of my people. Of rising from the ashes.❞This is the first book I have ever written in my life. I started penning it in the middle of April 2022 and finished it in late May 2022. I was twenty-years-old. The manuscript underwent minor revisions in December 2022, July 2023, and November 2023. In November 2024, I finalized the manuscript and printed a personal copy for myself.

At age twenty-two, the poet experienced a dark night of the soul. Despite the storms of grief, she found solace in the smiles of her partner, in the kindness of her friends, and in the trees and bushes that kept her company while she studied the firmament for signs of paradise.For a long time, the poet chose to blend in, hiding her spirituality to avoid harassment. But then she learned that her way of being and knowing was frequently practiced and celebrated by non-Western and Indigenous people throughout history across the globe prior to the Western colonial transgressions that engineered the industrial simulation. Now, the poet chooses to take a stand and speak.Only through this act of spiritual proclamation can the poet reclaim her narrative from the empty ones who had attempted to silence her throughout her life. By choosing to stay authentic and embrace herself, the poet becomes a catalyst that will help to usher in renewal, unity, and verity.

Q: Can you talk about your creative process and how you manage to make all these projects?All of my projects are Interconnected as Homage to the Infinite Nature Of True Reality, much like Indra's Net.In terms of Creation, I am taking care of a Spiritual Forest. Some days, I water the Seeds of Music. Other days, I trim the Bushes of Poetry.I tend to work on all of my projects at once. I do not give myself any unnatural deadlines, nor do I care for any external agenda. I Respect the Cosmic Cycles of Time and Honor the Natural Rhythms of Creation.I have been Creating and Learning all my Life. As a kid, I did visual art, studied astronomy and meteorology and Earth science, and played several musical instruments. At age eleven, I started writing fictional stories. At age fourteen, I began researching philosophy, writing spiritual nonfiction, studying world religions, and learning about the cultures of this world throughout time. At age seventeen, I taught myself story structure and spent copious amount of time honing my writing and narration skills. Later on, I taught myself video, audio, design, and other vital skills needed to give form to my Oeuvre. In my early twenties, I experimented with various distribution methods and taught myself how to release my projects on my own terms. Recently, I am rekindling my love for math and Earth science. I am also expanding my knowledge in biology, physics, and the social sciences while continuing to sharpen my creative skills. I am exhilarated to be a lifelong learner across space, time, and worlds.I live a traditional spiritual hermit lifestyle with my inner circle that embodies the Middle Way, far away from the listless machine of modernity, in Sacred Solitude With The Spirits Of All The Worlds, Co-Creating With Nature And Honoring The Earth.My projects are my children. I let them gestate, birth them, clothe them, care for them as a mother, then I let them Journey With The Earth. I am proud of my children, and I am proud of my Self. It Is my Absolute Honor To Co-Create With Nature.Q: Why do you release your art?I Release my Oeuvre as Offerings To The Spirits Of All The Worlds, as Communion With The Abundance Of The Earth, as Homage to the Ancestors, and as Natural Completion to Each Creation Cycle of the Soul's Evolution.I also Release my Oeuvre to stand up for my younger self, to take up rightful Natural Space for my Being, to exist out loud, to Amplify The Soul Frequency Of Nature, to Honor the Spirits in All of my Art, to Speak the Truth, to help Rectify unnatural imbalances and Restore Natural Equilibrium, and to Celebrate Harmony With True Reality.I Honor Natural Equilibrium. Just as villagers from all walks of life once gave bread to storytellers in exchange for guidance and wisdom, I do not give away the fruits of my labor for nothing. That would lead to an unnecessary and unnatural energetic imbalance, which must be avoided to Honor Nature And My Own Being.At the same time, I understand the importance of access and affordability. Hence, my ebooks are easily affordable to academic and public libraries, and slightly more expensive in select digital places. I will never endorse such blatant cultural appropriation.Moreover, I condemn all groups that co-opt Eastern Spirituality to brainwash East Asians into worshipping the ego of one fallible person. Any vertical hierarchy emphasizing unquestioning obedience, nonsensical dogma, and discriminatory exclusion is not spirituality. Only ego-driven charlatans will proclaim to be all-knowing deities and tell everyone else what to think, how to behave, what to say, and what to do.Reject the irrelevant. Reject all forms of ego exceptionalism.People who are Truly Spiritual will encourage other Souls to know themselves and to think for themselves. People who are Truly Spiritual recognize that They Are One With Nature and know that their existence is one drop in the Cosmic Ocean. I reject the irrelevant.Q: Are your books for teenagers and children?I do have several future projects for teenagers and children, but the vast majority of my books are not written with teenagers and children in mind. I do not recommend my books to people under the age of sixteen unless it is clearly stated by me that a project is young adult or middle grade.I do not sugarcoat my observations on society. Even so, I do include content advisory for each book that can be found in the book's description and on my website.Q: Are your books considered Asian-American literature?I am not an American. There is nothing wrong with being an American, of course. I have met many wonderful Americans during my time there. But I am not an American, so I am not Asian-American. I am Chinese. Do not ever categorize my books as Asian-American.Q: Are there anything else that should be known about your literary works?I am an Eastern Spiritual person making apolitical art for the sake of creation, preservation, and destruction of the old. I may touch on certain politics every now and then in some of my projects, but the purpose of my Oeuvre is never political. I would know since I made it. Do not listen to unsolicited and irrelevant attempts at politicizing my apolitical art.I am not a politician, not a revolutionary, not an activist, not a leader, not a follower, not an entertainer, not an influencer, not a mentor, not a spiritual teacher, not a guru, not a cultural broker, not a spokesperson for all Chinese people, not a mono representative of Eastern Spirituality, not a public figure.While some artists can arguably be distanced from their work, my Oeuvre is my children and cannot ever be truly separated from me as a person. Everything is intentional and interconnected. It is crucial to remember that not everyone is meant to be a part of everything. That is the natural way of life. My art is not for everyone. I do not compromise. There is so much art out there that there is a beautiful place for everyone. Only you can find the haven that is meant for you. You can simply go outside on a sunny day and look for yourself.Q: Why do you use Traditional Chinese even though you are from the Mainland?Traditional Chinese is a direct descendant of ancestral writing systems that does not cater to modernity. Thus, Traditional Chinese is more aligned with the Eastern Spiritual work that I am doing. The only time that I write in Simplified Chinese is when I am honoring literary works that are written in Simplified Chinese. Furthermore, I support the wonderful human beings in Tibet, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Inner Mongolia, and Yunnan. I also support the undeniable human rights of Uyghurs.Q: Are there other ways to support you?Do not recommend, review, or talk about my projects on social media or in any public online forum.
